Yes. Both plans include a 30-day free trial with full access to every feature in your chosen tier — no credit card required to start. You only add billing details if you decide to continue after the trial.
You're billed $8 per active member, per month, on both plans. When you add or remove members, your bill adjusts automatically with prorated charges. Plus adds a flat $99/month platform fee on top of the per-seat cost.
Plus is billed as a flat $99/month platform fee plus the same $8 per-seat price as Starter. The platform fee covers the operational, reporting, and workflow capabilities that Plus unlocks at scale — it's charged once per organization, regardless of how many members you have.
Seats are counted by active membership, not by calendar month. When a member is removed partway through a billing period, that seat is prorated for the days it was active — you're never charged a full month for a partial one.
Absolutely. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Changes take effect immediately and we prorate your billing for the remainder of the period.
Both plans include the controls government contractors need for a DCAA audit: tamper-proof time records, change justification tracking, digital attestation, and comprehensive audit logging. Compliance ships with Starter — we don't put basic audit-readiness behind an upgrade. Note that software alone doesn't make you compliant; it supports your overall system and practices.
Yes. The Plus plan includes a QuickBooks Online integration that syncs approved time and invoices, so your labor and cost-accounting records stay aligned without manual re-entry.
